IKS/STV

Usually, highly elastic special textiles for covering adjustable seat components (e.g. IKS), or for pneumatic seat adjustment mechanisms (e.g. STV) must exhibit both minimum depth due to the small space available and, despite continuous stress, high and lasting resilience. For the high forces that develop when the mechanics and pneumatics of adjustable seating systems are operated, these textiles must revert to their original shape upon stress relaxation.

Moreover, these textiles must adapt to the customers’ interior concepts. This is mainly achieved through dyeing, where colours are matched according to the customers’ requests.

Time and time again, the increasing number of interior design requirements demanded from our customers requires our specialists to develop innovative and additional applications. As a result, our basic elastic materials are laminated with various flexible carrier materials, e.g. using the sandwich process, to guarantee high form stability, resistance capability and high elasticity values.
